The drumhorse in this photo taken in India in 1927 is ridden by a drummer with 5DG badges on his collar and the red hackle in his sun helmet. He has two good-conduct stripes on his left forearm. At this time the 5DG and the 6th Inniskilling Dragoons were combined to form the 5th/6th Dragoons, and in the process of being re-titled 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards
