| Maunsell Bowers was born in 1853. Educated at Harrow. Captain 21st Aug 1878. Commanded the 5th Dragoon Guards from 1893 to 1897. He and his wife lived at Beeston Grange, Sandy in Bedfordshire. He died in 1925. Their son Arthur was killed in WW1. Captain, 2nd Battalion, Durham Light Infantry. Killed in action on Monday 9th August 1915. |
