Mounted Officer, Review Order 1937

The Greys were only 4 years away from mechanisation when this photo was taken. The officer is in dress uniform with gold belts and a gold cord sword knot which ends in a gold regimental thistle. The blue breeches have a yellow stripe which appears dark because of the photographic process. Interestingly, other photos taken in 1937 were processed in a more up-to-date way in which the yellow stripe shows clearly.
