Officer's Pouch and Belt 1830-37

The pouchbelt can be seen in this photo, showing the ess and vellum pattern. The buckle slide and tip were designed uniquely for the Scots Greys and remained unchanged to this day. The blue cloth backing to the dress pouch is almost completely obscured by the gold embroidery. William IV's cypher has a reversed R on one side to give it symmetry. The edges are decorated with thin vellum gold lace.
