Officer's Pouchbelt and Pouch 1855 - Present Day

The pouchbelt changed to the special St Andrews Star pattern c1845, but in 1855 the uniform change from the dress coatee to a tunic meant that the pouch had to change also. The cloth covered embroidered pouch was replaced by the silver type which was adopted by the rest of the heavy cavalry as well as the lancers and light dragoons.
