Officer's Sabretache 1830-37

The dress sabretache worn by Scots Greys officers continued with the pattern adopted in the 1820s but with the reverse cypher of King William IV who reigned from 1830 to 1837. This gold example includes the waist-belt which has the same pattern lace as the sabretache and the gilt waist-belt plate bearing William's cypher in silver.
