Other Ranks' Glengarry Badge 1874-81

The design for this brass badge is similar to the officers' belt plate pre-1855 apart from the added battle honours SEVASTOPOL and LUCKNOW. The glengarry was a black undress cap, worn at first by Scottish regiments but adopted by the rest of the British army in 1868 up until c1895.
