| This excellent map was produced by W Faden, dated 28 May 1801, very soon after the battle of Alexandria, fought on 21 Mar 1801. It shows the sites of the main actions at Aboukir Bay, on the right, Mandora (although not named), the last action before the battle of Alexandria itself, and the walled city on the left of the map. |
