Major-General Charles Trelawny


Charles Trelawny was colonel of the regiment for a period of almost 10 years except for the month of December 1688 during which time Sir Charles Orby was briefly in office. Whilst Trelawny was Colonel, the regiment changed title twice and fought at Sedgemoor.
