Officer's Belt-Plates c1820

These unsophisticated silver plates for officer's shoulder belts do not have the Royal Crest. The left-hand plate is probably dated 1816. It has the battle honours for EGYPT, VIMIERA and CORUNA. The spelling of Coruna changed to Corunna later. The last two honours were granted in 1812. The 50th had six more battle honours for the Peninsula War added in 1815 and 1820. The right-hand plate may date from 1820.
