Officer's Waist-Belt Clasp 1855-81

With the uniform changes of 1855, the sword was no longer hung from a shoulder belt, but attached to slings suspended from a waist-belt. The 1855 dress regulations stipulated this basic design and the 50th conformed to it, using a simple crown and 50.
