Bandsman c1905

The trombone player of the Buffs band is in review order with dress tunic and home service blue helmet. The shoulder wings of his tunic are decorated with plain white lace and have no fringe on the edge. White piping can be seen on the back seams of his sleeves as well as down the front edge of his tunic. His collar is plain buff edged with white piping and his buff cuffs are, since 1902, pointed instead of straight around. The white leather waistbelt has a matching frog to support the band sword, his only armament.
