Officers of the 3rd Londons

The territorials may have been regarded at Saturday night soldiers but the officers of this territorial battalion, the 3rd Londons look every inch the professionals they were in World War One. The photo was taken in Malta where they were stationed before going to France in 1915. The names of these officers are not known but 8 of them lost their lives at Neuve Chapelle after 10th March 1915, including Captain Pulman, the popular Lieutenant Matheison and Lieutenant Crichton.
