2nd Battalion Colours c1980

Although the battalion number cannot be seen we know that these two Colours belong to the 2nd Battalion because of a glimpse of the small Union flag in the canton of the Queen's Colour. The 3rd Battalion also has this but they were put into suspended animation in 1961. This photo gives a clearer idea of how the Colours look close up. The fringe is a mixture of crimson and gold bullion and the honour scrolls have raised edges.
