Bandsman 1905

This trumpeter is wearing a special band style tunic that was recently introduced into the regiment. The wings on his shoulder are red with white lace. The shoulder title can just bee seen. He has collar badges on his white collar and his cuffs are pointed. He has one good conduct stripe in white lace on his sleeve. The Broderick cap was an unpopular piece of undress headwear than lasted only a few years and was replaced by the peaked forage cap. The cap is blue with a white flash and a regimental badge.
