Cap Badge

The badge designed by Lt-Col Seaborn incorporates an unusual symbol beneath the King's Crown. It is an enamelled replica of the insignia that appears on the signet ring worn by General Gordon of Khartoom. In the middle of the circular Union Jack is a small inscription: 'GOD GUARD THEE'. The scrolls on either side read OVER and SEAS. Below the 210 the scroll has FRONTIERSMEN, beneath which is, in smaller letters WESTERN and CANADA in the lowest scroll.
