Pouchbelt Plate 1903



This badge is in two parts and worn on the officers' pouchbelts. The honour AVA was awarded to the regiment in 1826 when it was the 32nd Madras Native Infantry. The battle of Ava was fought in the 1st Burma War 1824-26. This badge can be seen in Jemadar 1912.
