The Yeomanry

Officer, 1803

The Yeomanry was re-embodied in 1803 but they adopted the same uniform that they had worn since c1796. The waist-length braided jacket was introduced in 1796 and was worn until 1805. It was braided with silver for officers and white worsted braid for the men. The new light dragoon helmet worn from 1798 was basically the same but had a black turban instead of a buff one. The plume was also changed to white over red.
