The Yeomanry

Embroidered cap badge 1897

The blue and white folding field service cap was introduced for undress wear around 1897 and had a silver embroidered WYC badge. This was replaced by the regimental badge of the bear and ragged staff c1901 and the cap was replaced by the modern style peaked forage cap in 1903.
