The Yeomanry

Trumpeters 1912

The Trumpet-Major sits in the middle of this group of trumpeters. He has four silver chevrons inverted on his right forearm. The caplines are still worn even though the busby had been discontinued since c1905. The plait is worn in different ways in this photo.
