The Yeomanry

Sergeant-Major's Jacket, post-1901

The jacket with silver lace and braid was worn by Warrant Officers in the regiment in the later stages of the uniform. The practice of having four stripes on the upper arm had been discontinued by the early 20th century. The rank on this jacket is probably Troop Sergeant-Major. The RSM had a badge on his fore-arm. The Kings crown and the Princess of Wales feathers badge surmount the gold chevrons.
