Armoured Car Parade 1959


This painting of a parade held in June 1959 depicts Daimler Dingo Scout Cars driving past, with a Ferret Car leading. The plaque beneath the painting says, ‘This Portrait of the Cheshire (Earl of Chester’s) Yeomanry at Eaton Hall in June 1959 was presented by the Chairman of the Cheshire County Council (Alderman Sir Wesley Emberton DL) as a token of the County Council’s Appreciation of the Services of the Regiment’.
