ECYC Monogram c1898

This badge and monogram are embossed on the cover of the regimental history by Frederick Leary published in 1898. The monogram ECYC beneath the Prince of Wales’s plume stands for Earl of Chester’s Yeomanry Cavalry, and was embroidered on the drum banners carried by the mounted kettle-drummer in the band.
