Fred Paternoster posed for this photo when the KDG were stationed in Trimulgherry, India in 1936/7. He wears a scarlet tunic with blue collar and blue breeches with a yellow stripe. The helmet is brass with a red falling horsehair plume. His 1908 pattern sword was attached to the saddle when mounted.
