These photos were reproduced in The Story of the 34th Company (Middlesex) Imperial Yeomanry by William Corner. The author was in the 34th Company and wrote from his personal experience. The 34th were posted to the hill which they named Middlesex Kopje, from 13 to 16 June 1900 during which time the various detachments from Klip Nek Camp came into contact with the Boers.
