Sergeants’ Group Photo 1961

The no.1 dress uniforms are worn by all the sergeants and Warrant Officers of the PPCLI. There are men from other units in the photo, and they do not have red sashes on their shoulder. The RSM seated in the middle is also without a sash, and carries a sword. Three officers can be seen seated at the front. Their rank insignia are worn on gold shoulder cords. They have crimson sashes around their waists and do not appear to have swords. At the top of the photo is the Drum-Major in full dress; scarlet tunic and French Grey facings.
