No.6 Dismount Gun and Carriage 1846


Campion’s sixth and final print in the series is titled ‘Dismount Gun and Carriage’. This involved the dismantling of the gun and laying the pieces on the ground. The gun crews sit on the different parts and the horses are lined up with a dismounted man standing by each group. The officers confer with each other. A detail of this print can be seen below.
