Battery on the March in India 1888


By this time the guns were drawn by a team of six horses. The gun and limber in this print are preceded by eight mounted gunners and NCOs and in front of them is the wagon which appears to carry a spare wheel. The men are wearing stable dress with a white helmet as seen in Service Dress, India 1881 .
