Lala Baba Hill

This contemporary photo shows the troops and stores massed on the beach in Sulva Bay, Gallipoli. The round hill in the middle of the picture is Lula Baba, the 200 foot high hill captured by two companies of the 6th Battalion Green Howards and the West Yorkshires at great cost.
