• World War I Aviation (RFC)
Patrick Wilson has made a fascinating site by combining his own family history with that of his wider interest in all things in early aviation. He has decorated the site with some lovely private and personal pictures from his father's album from the time he flew with 100 Squadron during World War I. He also has some great primary evidence through his interviews of veteran pilots. There is a lot of information here.
  • RAF Commands
This is a site that gives information about the Fighter, Bomber and Coastal Commands of the RAF during WWII. The site lacks good images, but contains plenty of specialist knowledge even if it seems a little stilted or technical at times. It is particularly useful if you want to track down where a particular squadron was posted during the war.
