Victoria's Diamond Jubilee


The Diamond Jubilee marked the apogee of the British Empire. It was just before the disasters of the Boer War and the unfolding horrors of the Twentieth Century. Troops and personnel arrived in London from all over the Empire making it an incredibly cosmopolitan celebration.
