Our Enemies

This 1943 propaganda poster was intended to inspire Africans to work harder for the Imperial war effort. The enemies refer to the Japanese, Germans, Italians and 'Laziness'. The artist employed crude racial stereotyping which was ironic given that they were fighting enemies who extolled racial differences and superiority.
