The Hallidays

One of the many military families that got caught up in the events and would eventually become victims in the most brutal ways. From left to right you have Captain William Halliday his wife Emma and their daughter Edith. Edith and Emma died of disease in the entrenchment after terrible suffering. William was hit directly by a canon ball whilst trying to fetch water for his grieving wife.
