The Disappeared

This is a collection of photographs of just some of the estimated thirteen thousand Argentines who were 'disappeared' by the Argentine Military Junta from 1976 to 1983. Facts like these naturally terrified the Falkland Islanders who did not wish to be added to the list of victims. They assumed that if the Argentine military regime had such contempt for its own people then what mercy could Falkland Islanders of British stock expect to receive.
