Other Ranks' Tunic

Scarlet tunic, less tailored than the officers' version, but has green velvet collar and cuffs. There are nine buttons down the front decorated with the regimental device. A brass hook is attached to the tunic at waist level to support the belt and the weight of the sword. The front is edged with green velvet and the collar, shoulder straps and cuffs in yellow cord. This does not show up in contemporary photos as yellow shows as black.
