Falkland Islander, 1936

This is an interesting image that shows that the Falkland Islanders have never been immune from influences and products from the South American continent as long as they are useful and serve a purpose. Here you can see a Falkland Islander dressed in a South American style gaucho that would have served isolated farmers most appropriately.
