Jacques Tenon

Jacques Tenon was a French surgeon who toured the hospitals of Europe with Charles-Augustin de Coulomb. They were both mightily impressed with the design and layout of Stonehouse military hospital and took the ideas back to France where they formed the basis of French hospital architecture for over a century.
