This photograph was taken on June 14th 1982 after the British had successfully defeated the Argentinians. It was felt appropriate that the original defenders of NP8901 being given the honour of returning the Falkland Island Flag to fly back over Government House in Port Stanley once more. Thus these men provided the bookends for the entire conflict from beginning to end.
