Willie Whitelaw


Willie Whitelaw was a trusted confidante of Margaret Thatcher and was therefore seen as a valuable member of her War Cabinet. Despite being good friends with Francis Pym, he sided with Margaret Thatcher in opposing Pym's peace proposals.

His autobiography was published as: The Whitelaw Memoirs
