This illustration from the 1742 'Cloathing' book (one of the earlist sources of uniform information) shows a trooper as the 13th were at the time of the second Jacobite rebellion. His jacket has green facings but the shabracque is pale yellow. This is unusual because in the case of all the other dragoon regiments, the colours of the facings and shabracque match each other. |
