| This was the last pattern of sabretache used by the 2nd Life Guards. Up until c1823 they had the same pattern as the 1st (see Life Guards in Action 1822). The flaming bomb motif was already on their shabraques and pouches (see Officer's Pouch 1820 -1835). The Life Guard regiments did not wear this item beyond about 1827. |
