| Born 24 Aug 1842. He was the son of Samuel Jackson Cleland of Stormont Castle, Co Down. He was a cornet in the Scots Greys by purchase from 19 July 1864 and retired a year later on 8 Sep 1865. He died on 16 Jan 1902 in Paris. |
