| Edgar Oliphant Anstey was born in Australia and at the age of 27 was an officer in Captain Mostyn's F Company, 1st Battalion at Isandhlwana. His body was identified as one of those who made a last stand near the banks of the Manzimnyana stream behind the mountain. The photo shows him in the full dress uniform of the 24th Regiment with the rank badge of an embroidered crown on his green collar for the rank of lieutenant. |
