1808 Killed at Vimiera on 21st Aug.

The uniform is red with black velvet collar and lapels, a silver epaulette on his right shoulder, and silver buttons. The belt-plate is silver and probably formed the basis of the drawing by H G Parkyn of a second battalion plate. See Officer's Belt-Plates c1809
