Lieutenant-Colonel W P Hodnett


This photo was taken in 1885, in Aden, when Hodnett was a major. He entered the 54th as an ensign on 26th Oct 1858 and promoted to Lieutenant in 1861. He was a captain in 1868 and a major in 1881. His speciality was shooting, having been a musketry instructor for 8 years.
