Private Frank Sharples

Frank Pafferd Sharples was killed at the battle of The Somme on 7th July 1916 when the 8th Battalion captured Ovillers village. He was one of the many casualties that the battalion suffered that day. He was 20 years old and was from The Manse, Evington in Leicestershire.
