The Yeomanry

Officers’ Undress Sabretache Badge

The bimetal regimental badge was fixed in the centre of the plain black leather sabretache worn by officers from c1897 to 1901 when sabretaches were abolished. The badge is quite large, mostly brass, with white metal making up the outer petals of the rose and the CARABINIERS scroll at the base of the badge. The Victorian crown is somewhat angular in shape.
