Up until 1902 the officers and senior NCOs wore a badger sporran similar to the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, but in 1902 they adopted a simpler sporran of white goat or horse hair with two black horse hair tassels. The cantle was silver with a gilt or brass circular centre-piece of similar design to the waist-belt clasp. This design was worn by sergeants and above.
