The Fleet of the Dardanelles


Originally, the plan had conceived of using older, obsolete warships that could not compete on the High Seas with the most modern warships. However, last minute jitters about the chances of success meant that more modern warships like the Lord Nelson and the Agamemnon were added into the fleet. The French also added warships to the enterprise.
