Trooper J C Boughton


John Charles Boughton was drowned whilst trying to save Trooper Kennard at Clocolan on 2 April 1901. He was 24. He was the only son of C and S Broughton of Netherlands, Tillington. There is a brass memorial plaque to him in St Peter’s Church, Lodsworth, West Sussex.
